Xolos de Tijuana can thank Cirilo Saucedo for leading them to the past season's title. The 30-year-old goalkeeper had his best season since his senior debut in 2001.
Saucedo has great reflexes and a superb aerial game. He has played for León, Sinaloa, Veracruz, UANL, Indios and Tijuana.
In 2003, he won the first leg of the promotion league with León, but the team lost the second round against Sinaloa, team that signed him for the next season.
That same year, he won the bronze medal at the Dominican Republic Pan American Games. In 2009, he hoisted the SuperLiga trophy with Tigres.
