South Carolina quarterback Spencer Rattler could be an "intriguing" pick in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported.

Rattler has received interest from the Las Vegas Raiders, New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks, Schultz reported.

Rattler is currently projected as the No. 66 overall prospect in the B/R NFL Scouting Department's latest Big Board.

The Raiders pick in the second round with the No. 44 selection.

Rattler found success at South Carolina after transferring from Oklahoma prior to the 2022 campaign.

He ranked fifth in the SEC, and top-30 in the NCAA, with with 3,186 passing yards last season.

The quarterback connected on 275 of his 399 passes last season to mark a 68.9 percent completion rate, then capped off the season with an MVP performance during the Senior Bowl.

Schultz isn't the first analyst to tie the Raiders and Rattler together. ESPN's Jordan Reid projected him going to Las Vegas with the No. 77 pick during a mock draft earlier this month.

"I made the rounds to a bunch of pro days over the past month, and I came away really impressed with Rattler. He has had a solid pre-draft process overall," Reid wrote, noting that Rattler accomplished his 2023 numbers "behind a struggling offensive line."

B/R NFL Scout Derrik Klassen called Rattler "arm talent personified" in his own scouting report.

Concerns linger over Rattler's size of 6-foot-0 and 211 pounds, but his arm talent could lead a team like the Raiders to take a chance on him in the second round and introduce some competition to a quarterback room currently led by Aidan O'Connell and Gardner Minshew.
