ATLANTA -- The dirty laundry of some Atlanta's biggest celebrities is now being aired out in a new VH1 reality show, Atlanta Exes. The stars of the show, are the celebrities' ex-wives.

The ladies are billed as once-significant others of a list of elite A-list men. Now ex-wives, these women are doing things for themselves.

Despite that, Monyetta Shaw, the ex-fiancé of singer-producer Ne-Yo, is still living in the house with the celebrity.

"Yes, it's temporary, I will say that," Shaw said. "He's away more than he's here so it does make sense. And our number one thing is the kids."

Christina Johnson was married to Goodie Mob frontman and NBC's The Voice judge CeeLo Green.

"We were really young when we got married," Johnson said. "We've tried to keep things the same throughout , like we would do holidays together, birthdays together."

Sheree Buchannan ex is "Big Play" Ray Buchannan from the Atlanta Falcons.

"We just went from being best friends to like, 'Oh god, I hope he's not home when I get there,'" she said.

Tameka Raymond was married to Atlanta's own Usher Raymond, and Torrei Hart was married to funnyman Kevin Hart, who got engaged to his longtime girlfriend on the night of the show's premiere.

"I ain't bitter regardless of what everybody says because I have a new man in my life who supports me 100 percent," Torrei Hart said.

The show opened to a ratings bonanza 3.9 million viewers. These ladies say it will not be about the fighting, but about a sisterhood that includes some arguments, but also a lot of hugs, tears and moving on.

"Don't be confused to think that they're just holding hands singing, 'May they come back, just come back guys, please we need you,'" said Tameka Raymond.

Torrei Hart adds, "We have too many suitors approaching us to ever be sitting about talking about please come back."

The women hope their struggles can help inspire others.

"For women to be able to see they broke up, they're crying, they're upset, they are working through this process just like I did," Johnson said. "I feel like this show is going to change a lot of lives."

The show premiered last week on VH1.
